Heading north on the A12 travel to the end of the Witham bypass. 0.65 miles later take the turning left (immediately after the Fox Pub!) signposted Silver End. After 0.2 miles right at T-junction signposted Braxted. 0.2 miles under A12. 0.6 miles twisty over humpbacked bridge. 0.2 miles ignore road left. 1.5 miles straight on at X-roads. 0.7 miles give way at B1022, then straight on at X-road (staggered left) into Grove Farm Road. 0.7 miles ignore road right, opposite Grove Farm. Continue via twisty road for 1 mile to T-junction, go right. Longfield is on the left hand side after 0.2 miles.
