Welcome !

Hi and welcome to Life at Longfield !! My name is Christine (Chick to my friends) and I live here with my husband Ray (better known as Crow), and five hens.

After working full time for 27 years, I am now a "kept woman". Yippee!! I am now lucky enough to be able to freely pursue my hobbies of gardening, cooking/entertaining and various crafts. Not having kept a diary since I was a girl, I decided to try a modern website diary to record our Longfield exploits.

This website has been sadly neglected since November 2010. I just don't know where the time goes....or whether I'll get my audience to visit again. But it's a new year and I'm back with my daily exploits. I'll keep the daily dairy up-to-date regularly, but I'll need time to get all the other pages right up to spec. I'll keep you posted via the daily updates (look out for green text like this).

All of my hand-made cards are for sale from only 30p to 75p (some 3D varieties) plus P&P. If you're in a rush, I can make an insert with the words of your choice in a handwriting font and send it straight to your recipient.
