Despite everyone's trepidation the Trianglers soon got to grips with how this worked. Ray wandered around the woods but his offer of advice was always refused and the scores proved the rejection was justified. Clearly all had done their homework and had read the documentation before the evening.

The first half an hour was the easiest: still daylight and big orange (A) boards to find. Thereafter the darkness and inch square boards slowed everyone down. An interesting set of illuminations, with the female Wooseys probably suffering from arm ache with a wind-up torch.

We'd no idea whether the course could be finished within the allotted two hours, but three pairs did, which wasn't helped by a mistake in the Location Table right at the end. Red face and apologies for that.

Priscilla and Jo Llewellyn were the first to the barn to discover the treasure - a quilted version of the Triangle logo crafted by a friend in South Africa. It was an interesting day for the Llewellyns. They were the only competitors from the Essex 100 Historic Rally during the day to stay on for the evening. Their day had been a disaster and they were spotted off-route many times, only just getting to the finish before being excluded. Yet on foot in the woods they were much more at home, strolling confidently from clue to clue.

Here's the photos that the Llewellyn's took of the "Triangle":

Many thanks for everyone's participation and generosity. We will be passing on a £200 donation for our Triangle charity the NET Patient Foundation.
