cancel the event on July 25th due to a family illness.

Longfield.
-
10:45 to 11:00
Arrival. Just time for a cuppa and cake. All day refreshments provided.
-
11:15 to 13:30
Leg-ability 1 (Search Trial): Previously known as
the Longfield Triangle. A contest to test your searching capabilities. Find 16 code boards,
which guide you to 8 more, then another 4, a pair, and a final board
which points you to a treasure cache. A two-hour romp through the
woods and field of Longfield.
Download The
Definitive Guide to the Longfield Leg-ability Search Trial for
further details.
-
13:30 to 14:30
Lunch.
A sumptuous buffet while you swap tales about your treasure
hunt.
-
14:30 to 15:30
Leg-ability 2 (Time Trial): After lunch choose from
several local footpath walks of around 1.25 - 2 miles and deposit any
timepiece you have (including GPSr's) before you start. Predict exactly how long the walk will
take you; there are penalties for getting back too early or too
late. You'll have to record a code board at the furthest point on
the footpath to prove you completed the walk. Download maps of
Paths 1A and 1B &
Paths 2A and 2B.
As added value for any geocachers that come there will be a
new cache to find on one of the footpaths. (July 4 - Rally Round
36 aka Leg-ability 1; July 25 - Rally Round 37 aka
Leg-ability 2)

(between 0.5 and 1.0 miles) and say what
